The IIE Varsity College, Waterfall Campus has a Leturer: Supervisor: Research Psychology (Independent Contractor) vacancy within the School of Humanities and Social Science for the following qualification for the 2024 academic year:

• IIE Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Ideally: Research Masters in Psychology as the person will be supervising students and preferably lecturing experience in Research Methodology.
• Alternatively: NQF 9 qualification that includes an academic research
• Research Methodology module should be successfully completed at NQF8
• If the candidate does not have a Research Masters then the candidate must have completed a Research Methodology Module as part of NQF 9 qualification.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• In order to supervise on this module, the lecturer needs to have successfully supervised and delivered at least 5 Honours students.

Working Conditions:

• Positions are part-time but require in-person meetings with students on campus.
• Provide a student support function through consultations, where necessary
• Grade all assessments for assigned classes.
