The School invites applications for the permanent position of Lecturer in Environmental Engineering. REQUIREMENTS: o A Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Environmental Engineering) or Chemical Engineering (with a focus on Environmental Engineering) or a related field, is preferable. However, consideration will be given to exceptional applicants with a Masters degree (in the above fields) and potential to pursue a Doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering. o A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or a related Environmental Engineering field. ADVANTAGE: o ECSA Professional or Candidate Engineering registration. o Evidence of teaching, research/experience and successful higher degree supervision in Environmental Engineering. DUTIES: The successful applicant will be expected to lecture Environmental Engineering undergraduate courses, as well as other Civil Engineering undergraduate courses; lecture in Environmental Engineering postgraduate courses; participate in academic administration; supervise the research of undergraduate and postgraduate students and develop a productive research programme.
