Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- A relevant Doctoral Degree and an undergraduate study in any of the accounting fields of Financial Accounting, Financial Management. Managerial Accounting and Finance.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at tertiary level.
- Ability to lecture Financial Accounting and Forensic Accounting at postgraduate level.
- Experience of supervision at doctorate and masters levels.
- Delivering lectures, conducting classes, and facilitating discussions on their subject area.
- Contributing to the development and revision of course content to ensure its relevance.
- Designing and administering assessments, providing feedback, and assigning grades.
- Engaging in research, publishing academic papers, and presenting findings.
- Guiding students on academic matters, offering mentorship, and assisting with career exploration.
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Contributing to departmental or faculty administrative tasks and serving on committees.
- Engaging with the wider community through outreach programs, public lectures, and collaborations.
- Undertake administration and other duties assigned by the Head of Department
