MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Custodian for ensuring competence within the context of the legislative environment and MCSA strategy as aligned with the HR Service Delivery Model
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Advocate of learning culture
Manage employee development in a planned manner in accordance with the MCSA strategy
Manage a structured program for novice / newly appointed Nurses to ensure competencies are met within set timelines
Manage formal students
Act as custodian of learning and development standards of the locality
Enable transformation through learning and development
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Degree in General Nursing Science and Midwifery.
Post Graduate Nursing Education qualification.
Current registration with SANC.
DESIRED EDUCATION:
Post Graduate Diploma in Operating Theatre / Critical care / Emergency Care / Nursing Management
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years experience as Professional Nurse in a hospital environment. At least 2 years in a Clinical Facilitator or Learning and Development Facilitator or Nursing Educational role.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience as Educator, Mentor or Assessor
