Job Purpose
To design, deliver, manage and implement Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programmes within agriculture, energy, water, and waste sectors, aligned to Nedbank's CSI Green Economy strategy, in order to advance the bank's vision and purpose of sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.
Job Responsibilities

• Achieve Corporate Social Investment (CSI) project objectives by implementing change interventions that deliver the required return on investment.
• Identify, build, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise needs, and ensure strategic alignment to outcomes and SROI
• Promote, champion, and adhere to governance requirements within the Corporate Social Responsibility function.
• Achieve targets for skills development, job creation, and enterprises as outlined by the unit's objectives. Co-Create and build an effective pipeline for Green Economy investments into new projects including scaling existing projects
• Identify and recommend improvements to business processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and value addition for Nedbank.
• Maintain an effective project administration system by capturing, updating, and managing relevant project information.
• Identify areas for improvement by reviewing Corporate Social Responsibility policies, procedures, guidelines, and market trends.
• Provide feedback on initiatives by compiling and submitting accurate, timely reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the bank at key events and on media platforms to raise awareness of Nedbank CSI initiatives and strengthen the bank's brand image.
• Contribute to the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of flagship Nedbank Social Impact Events, such as the Nedbank Green Economy Indaba.

People Specification
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification
Relevant Diploma / Bachelors Degree Economics, Finance, Environmental and Social Development
Minimum Experience Level
Minimum 1-2 years in project and portfolio management, graduate programs, Public Affairs, Impact Investing or Management Consulting
