Purpose of the Role:
The main purpose of the role is to effectively lead and oversee IT-related projects through their entire lifecycle using a combination of Waterfall and AGILE Project management methodologies, depending on the nature of the project. The Senior IT Project Manager will be required to lead / oversee a diverse range of projects and will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders within the Eduvos' ecosystem to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with measurable value to the institution.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
An under-graduate degree (qualification at NQF-7 level) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
A post-graduate qualification in the above (Advantageous)
Industry-recognised certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, AGILE DSDM etc.)
Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT Project Management role in an enterprise (large, complex) IT environment leading both systems development and infrastructure projects.
At least 3 years in a senior/lead project management role.
A proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT-related projects.
An understanding of how organisational change management supports successful project implementation would be advantageous.
Experience in establishing and implementing Project Management best practices within a Project Management Office is highly desirable.
