Role Overview:
The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for building and qualifying a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads through outbound prospecting. This role focuses on research, list building, and multi-channel outreach--primarily via LinkedIn and email--to connect with decision-makers and generate sales-ready opportunities.
You will own the lead generation process from prospect identification through initial qualification, working closely with sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads. This role is ideal for execution-driven professionals who enjoy high-volume outreach, data-driven optimization, and being the engine that fuels revenue growth.

Core Responsibilities:
Prospect Research & Database Building (30%):
Identify target accounts and decision-makers based on ideal customer profiles
Build and maintain accurate prospect databases using sales intelligence tools
Research companies, industries, and personas to inform outreach messaging
Validate and enrich contact data to ensure high deliverability and accuracy
Segment prospects by role, industry, company size, and buying signals
Multi-Channel Outbound Outreach (35%):
Execute outbound campaigns via LinkedIn and email
Send personalized connection requests and follow-up messages daily
Run cold email campaigns using sequencing and automation tools
Customize messaging based on prospect context and pain points
Manage outreach cadences and follow-ups across multiple touchpoints
Respond promptly to inbound replies to maintain engagement momentum
Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management (20%):
Qualify prospects based on fit, interest, and readiness
Conduct initial discovery conversations or written qualification
Differentiate and tag leads appropriately (MQL vs SQL)
Maintain clean lead stages and handoff notes for sales teams
Re-engage stalled or cold prospects strategically
CRM Management & Data Hygiene (10%):
Log all outreach activity and outcomes accurately in CRM systems
Maintain up-to-date lead statuses and next steps
Ensure clean, deduplicated, and well-documented records
Track engagement history and qualification context
Support reporting on pipeline contribution and lead quality
Performance Tracking & Optimization (5%):
Track outreach activity and conversion metrics
Identify which messages, sequences, and channels perform best
Test and refine subject lines, CTAs, and personalization approaches
Share insights and recommendations based on performance data
Requirements:
Must-Haves (Required):
1-2+ years of experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, or outbound sales
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn outreach and cold email campaigns
Strong prospect research and list-building skills
Excellent written English communication skills
Experience working with CRM systems
Ability to manage high-volume outreach with consistency and quality
Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred):
Experience supporting B2B SaaS, agencies, or startups
Familiarity with sales qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.)
Experience managing multiple campaigns or client accounts
