SUMMARY:
Lead Mechanical Design Engineer required with at least 10 years experience. Minimum 5 years in a lead/managerial role. Ability to manage Mechanical design engineers and act as a mentor. B Eng. Degree or B Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering. xc3x82 3D CAD experience. Mainly USA client base. Must be willing to travel to USA on variable periods. International design of equipment and automotive field.

Minimum qualification and experience:

• Mechanical design

experience (10-15 years + Years) * 3D CAD experience
Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
• Interface with customers to help establish and prioritize the utilization of design resources
• Delegate work to assigned engineering personnel
• Directs and guides design engineers on technical related issues
• Manage project / task timelines to ensure that agreed milestones are reached and to communicate and plan for non-compliance in a timely manner
• Take responsibility for the technical soundness and compliance of designs to the customerxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s, and general engineering practices and standards
• Organize and lead xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x9cinternalxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x9d design reviews to ensure that designs that are reviewed with the customer are properly checked for soundness and compliance
• Lead design reviews with the customer and suppliers
• Lead CAD Design
• Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
