KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Company Reporting and Oversight
Report to the Executive Team on academy performance, workforce capability, and organisational outcomes
Provide data-driven insights on skills readiness, productivity, and talent risk
Prepare quarterly and annual performance and impact reports
Performance Management
Own and manage company-wide performance management frameworks
Ensure consistent, fair, measurable, and auditable performance standards
Link performance outcomes to learning interventions, progression, incentives, and workforce decisions
Drive performance calibration, moderation, and governance
Skills Development, SETA and Compliance
Design, develop, and deliver SETA-aligned workplace learning programmes
Develop training content, LMS structures, assessment tools, coaching programmes, assimilation processes, and psychometric assessments
Collaborate with the internal Learning and Development team to ensure Academy programmes complement and support iBridge's broader training initiatives
Ensure audit-ready compliance with SETA, BPESA, YES, Discretionary Grant, and PIVOTAL requirements
Maintain learner records, attendance registers, and assessment evidence
Support audits, verifications, and monitoring visits
Management and Quality Systems
Implement and maintain management systems for HR, training, performance, operational, and quality functions
Proven record of running and maintaining ISO 9001-aligned or equivalent quality management systems
Administer LMS, HRIS/HRMS, and performance management systems
Drive continuous improvement and benchmarking against international outsourcing standards
Commercialisation, Business Development, and Outsourcing Enablement
Work closely with the Business Development Office (BDO), account managers, workforce management, HR, and L&D teams to align Academy initiatives with client needs and outsourcing opportunities
Position the academy as a talent pipeline for iBridge operations and external clients
Ensure academy-trained individuals meet client-ready and SLA-driven performance standards
Deploy trained talent into revenue-generating roles for iBridge or outsourced clients
Source new business opportunities and support business development initiatives
Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including local, continental, and international clients
Track ROI, productivity, and cost efficiencies
Talent Pipeline and Leadership Development
Identify high-potential learners and employees for specialist and leadership pathways
Support succession planning and long-term workforce sustainability
Work alongside HR, Operations, and the Learning and Development teams to ensure a cohesive talent pipeline
Develop structured progression pathways from entry-level to advanced roles
HR, Payroll and Workforce Oversight
Partner with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate contracts, payroll processing, and compliance
Align performance management, HR policies, and labour legislation
Support onboarding, performance management, and exits
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Junior Degree (minimum 3-year qualification) in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Industrial Psychology, Operations Management, or related discipline
Recognised HR qualification aligned to SABPP or equivalent professional body (CIPD, HPCSA, or internationally recognised HR accreditation)
Proven record of implementing and running quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
Knowledge of SETA frameworks, funded programmes, and workplace-based learning Project Management certification advantageous
Experience
Minimum 5 years HR practitioner experience with hands-on responsibility across core HR disciplines
Proven ability to design, implement, and independently maintain HR, learning, performance, operational, and quality management systems
Experience in greenfield build and steady-state operational environments
Demonstrated experience in cost centre management: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, ROI tracking, and operational profitability
Experience in business development, client engagement, and pitching academy talent to clients
Experience in BPO, contact centre, financial services, credit vetting, sales, or outsourcing environments
Ability to work independently and travel as required

Psychometric assessments may be required

Final offer and start date agreement
