MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent. Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF 5 or higher) in graphic design and portfolio of evidence, which is essential. Proficient in CorelDraw and Adobe Suite. Above average verbal and written English communications skills to communicate professionally with customers and internally, both telephonically and by email. Minimum of 3 years' experience and/or proven track record in a Layout Artist or similar position and environment. Understanding of branding processes. Proven ability to work under pressure. Proficient in Amrod processes vs artwork requirements will be advantageous.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAKEY PERFORMANCE AREA

Assess visual aspects, such as typeface, color, position and formatting of logo. Ensure that the text and images are appropriate and visually appealing and in accordance with client specification. Assist with storyboards and mockups as required. Ensure work is of the highest standards in order to meet the clients' requirements. Adhere to health and safety requirements and ensure compliance at all times. Assist in other positions and departments in accordance with operational requirements. Maintain and improve housekeeping and hygiene standards within department
