DBN000205 - Lawyer (Commercial Litigation) - PMB/DBN
Main purpose of the job:
To oversee a small team in the daily handling of intricate litigation cases, together with practical expertise in contract preparation and commercial and construction law advice.
Minimum requirements

• A Minimum of two (2) years of post-article experience in commercial litigation or construction law
• The capacity to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, a high-stress setting
• Prior team leadership experience - ideal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy abilities
• Prior Smokeball experience - advantageous
• Australian working hours (5/6am - 13/14pm)

Main duties & Responsibilities

• Writing letters and counsel
• Drafting business agreements and contracts;
• Drafting submissions, applications, and pleadings
• Drafting affidavits and witness testimonies; and
• Assisting with advice documents and other litigation as needed.
