Job Advert Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, pressing and folding clothes and other textile articles for guests and for inhouse use. The successful candidate may also be required to assist the housekeeping department with cleaning duties

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to Receives & return all guest laundry in accordance with procedures Ensure that correct & clean supplies of linen is issued to Room Attendants Ensure linen quality is issued & returned Ensure that complete guest satisfaction is maintained in all areas of Housekeeping Control the issue of staff uniforms & their appearance Count & record the amount of soiled linen returned to the contracted laundry supplier Maintain and clean laundry equipment and storage facilities Ensure that linen storeroom & work area is always near & tidy and that the operation equipment is in working order Report any maintenance defects to manager Maintain highest standard of hygiene within the property * Any other adhoc duties that may be required
