Job Description
Laboratory support in the Civil Engineering and Geomatics Laboratories.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Grade 12
- At least 1-year experience in a relevant laboratory or industry.
- A National Diploma/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant.
- Experience in Civil Engineering materials laboratories preferable.
- Assist with laying out of class material, setting up of equipment and any other general preparations for classesinstructions.
- Store keeping
- Issuing of equipment to students
- House keeping
- General minor maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Perform general tasks for the workshops
- Good health and safety awareness
