Job Description
Nvirotek is recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst: Chromatography (Level 1) to ensure that all chemical analysis (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS.MS and ) related sample preparations techniques takes place without deviation from the accredited methods to ensure accurate and timely results to the clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
Perform chemical analyses using
LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS
techniques in line with accredited methods. Ensureaccurate sample preparation and processing
, maintaining integrity and preventing cross-contamination.Capture and evaluate data/results
accurately and timeously in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Comply withSANAS ISO 17025:2017 requirements
, including documentation, non-conformance reporting, and quality improvements. Work towards and maintainTechnical Signatory status
for at least one analytical technique.Liaise with customers
on sample-related queries and administrative matters. Monitor and managechemical supplies
, report maintenance issues, and participate inSHEC activities
.B.Sc. Chemistry or related scientific field At least 2 year of relevant experience in chromatography techniques, specifically LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS. Familiarity with method development, optimization, and validation processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
