Kwekery Bemarking en Tegniese Bestuurder / Nursery Marketing and Technical Manager
Ons klient in die vrugtekwekery bedryf is tans opsoek na 'n Bemarking en Tegniese Bestuurder. Hierdie is 'n nuut geskepte pos wat rapporteer aan die Groep Uitvoerende Hoof. Die Kwekery is in die Witzenberg Vallei omgewing in die Wes-Kaap gelee.
Die hoof verantwoordelikhede van die pos is:

• Interaksie met Produsente en die dryf van boom verkope
• Analisering en toepassing van bedryfstegnieke in die kwekery
• Beplanning en rekord houding van kwekery aktiwiteite wat verband hou met bemarking.
• Skep van handelsmerk bewustheid
• Verteenwordiging van die Kwekery by veld dae vergaderings ens
• Dienslewering aan kliente

Minimum vereistes:

• 'n Toepaslike diploma/graad in Hortologie
• 'n Sterk tegniese hortologie agtergrond met ten minste 8 jaar ervaring
• Goeie tegniese kennis van vrugtebome
• Bewese ervaring op senior bestuursvlak
• Uitstekende interpersoonlike en kommunikasievaardighede
• 'n Strategiese maar ook praktiese ingesteldheid
• Sterk administratiewe, finansiele, rekenaar (veral Excel) en organisatoriese vaardighede

Our client in the fruit nursery industry is currently looking for a Marketing and Technical Manager. This is a newly created position reporting to the Group Executive Head. The Nursery is located in the Witzenberg Valley area in the Western Cape.
The main responsibilities of the position are:

• Interacting with growers and driving tree sales
• Analysis and application of industry techniques in the nursery
• Planning and record keeping of nursery activities related to marketing
• Creating brand awareness
• Representation of the Nursery at field days and meetings etc
• Service delivery to customers

Requirements:

• A suitable diploma/degree in Horticulture
• A strong technical background in horticulture with at least 8 years of experience
• Good technical knowledge of fruit trees
• Proven experience at senior management level
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A strategic but also practical mindset
• Strong administrative, financial, computer (especially Excel) and organizational skills
