AWS Data Engineer (JB4033)

We are assisting our client in finding a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join their team in the Global Markets Division. You will contribute to the development and optimization of data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in Python/C# development and 3 years in AWS Data Engineering.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of two days in the office.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5 years of experience in Python or C# development.
3 years of hands-on experience in AWS Data Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty Certificate (Advantageous).
Strong knowledge of AWS Glue, Lambda, and Lifecycle configuration.
Conceptual understanding and ability to create data pipelines, along with a solid grasp of different phases in the ETL process.
Proficiency in Python, particularly in Numpy and Pandas.

Key Competencies:
Strong background in AWS Data Engineering.
Ability to work with AWS Glue, Lambda, and Lifecycle configuration effectively.
Conceptual understanding and practical experience in creating data pipelines.
Proficient in Python, with expertise in Numpy and Pandas.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines on AWS, with a strong emphasis on AWS Glue Jobs using PySpark or AWS Glue Spark.
Utilize programming skills in C# or Python to enhance and optimize data processes.
Demonstrate proficiency in AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or the ability to develop and automate machine learning models.
