We are looking for an experienced qualified chef that is able to lead and manage our Kitchen.
We have a comfort food menu and would appreciate someone that is passionate about dishing up exactly that.
Requirements:
Planning and developing menu's / recipes.
Stock management: from securing the best prices, par level implementation, ordering procedure management, stock issuing, stock takes, analysing variances and investigating variances.
Processing invoices on POS.
Familiar with all kitchen safety and sanitation regulations.
Proper food storing/storage procedures, cleanliness, and food hygiene procedures.
Flexibility in terms of working shifts and weekends.
Continuous training of kitchen staff.
Ensuring the highest standards are met in all aspects.
Pass/Plating management.
This role would also require the person to assist with certain general managerial duties such as closing of the shop on certain of their night shifts.
