As a key member of our technical and sales team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert support for the on-farm performance of our feed products, focusing on poultry performance measurement, customer relationship building, market intelligence, and product innovation.


Minimum Requirements

  • MSc. (Agric) with a major in Monogastric Nutrition
  • Ph. D. (Agric) in Poultry Nutrition and M.B.A. will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Leadership qualities
  • Self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Dynamic individual ready to contribute to a thriving team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technical Strategy: Conduct competitor technical benchmarking, develop targeted broiler, layer, and swine technical strategies & Craft a comprehensive technical brand building strategy.
  • Technical Advice to Clients/Farmers: Identify and understand the needs of leading farmers and clients, implement effective actions to satisfy client requirements, monitor progress and provide problem-solving support, gather, and evaluate production information for proof of product performance & conduct thorough product performance benchmarking.
  • Development of Marketing Personnel: Determine market needs and compile training programs, liaison with Sales reps, Key clients, and the agricultural sector, identify and capitalize on market opportunities, formulate action plans, objectives, and monitor progress & stay abreast of industry trends and technological developments.
  • Training and Development of Technical Staff: Identify training needs and compile effective programs, participate in Study Groups meetings and workshops, collaborate with the Technical team on research and new product development & plan and coordinate research projects with universities and research institutions.
  • Sales and Marketing: Compile and maintain prospect lists, Analyse sales, manage product range volumes, and margins, provide feedback on product performance, new development, and improvement, attend key meetings to contribute insights on product strategy & identify and evaluate new opportunities in the market.
  • Information Management Systems: Update technical information for product booklets and pamphlets & ensure high visibility by participating in relevant technical and information events.
