We are looking for a positive individual with strong leadership and organizational skills to join the Sales & Marketing Team at the Manhattan Hotel. The candidate needs to be practical, hands on and must have a proven track record in the industry in a sales environment.
Qualification and work experience
An Industry related qualification - Diploma / Degree
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Key Accounts Manager or similar role in a hotel environment
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional attitude and presentation
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to market and sell the Hotel
Manage key accounts, build and maintain good client relationships
Ability to generate new business and promote retention.
Negotiating Key accounts contracts and agreements
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
Knowledgeable and keeping abreast of industry trends
Be flexible and work long hours and ability to travel to different provinces
Computer literate (Outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint)
Experience in Hotel Property management and sales software (will be a great advantage)
Own transport essential
General
Must have no criminal record
Will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager
Remuneration:
Market related Salary - depending on experience
