Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities



Assistant Key Account manager that oversees one of our major accounts. Ensure the development of Gears products for this client. Responsible for identifying possible new projects for this client. Promote and Grow After Sales Services Define stock holding models, monitor stock levels and prepare stock re-order proposals. Manage price & supply competitiveness effectively. Expand and maintain Contract Business. Advise on contract pricing and special orders. Follow competitive trends & activities for managing key accounts. Co-ordinate market research, sales projections, budgets, promotional campaigns, sales orders and manufacturing Assessment of problems at site and involve field service using technical knowledge. Information is sourced, analysed, and documented. Extensive travels to this client's plants. 80% travel and 20% office bound.

Education and Work Experience Requirements



Knowledge and use of CRM is essential for this role. Grade 12. Relevant tertiary qualification Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Marketing will be beneficial Computer literate (MS Office- PowerPoint & excel Essential) 5 years Technical Sales & Industry experience and understanding of
