To achieve targets set forth within the key accounts sales department and assist in maximising the sales team's/company's potential. Develop and implement strategies to build/maintain new/existing fruitful relationships with relevant stakeholders/customers as required.
Responsibilities:
External Sales
Achieve 100% of sales turnover target by the end of each month; measured by % sales turnover target; tracked by system (studio) monthly
Achieve 100% of product target on a YTD timeframe; measured by % of product turnover target; tracked by system (studio) monthly
Develop and implement strategic sales plans and activities as required to meet sales goals.
Identify treats, opportunities and trends concerning key accounts and communicate information regarding this to relevant company team members.
Network, develop and follow up on business leads
Analyse sales statistics to determine sales potentials
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitor's status
Cash Flow Management
Manage expenses by managing your sales/expense budget on a quarterly basis; measured by YTD budget; target at <98%; tracked by actual budget monthly
Manage demo account 100% to the stipulated time frame set as on the demo forms; measured by % related to time frame; target at 100%; tracked by account statement/demo file monthly
Manage expenses; accountable for outstanding amounts and write off sales related to queries by the 10th of every month; measured by day of the month; target at the 10th; tracked by account statement/demo file
Customer Satisfaction
Manage customer feedback reporting profile to co-inside with YTD targets achieved; measured by % within allocated budget; target at < 95%; tracked by report quarterly
Leadership
Help build and develop a team that is competent, dedicated, commercially astute and efficient.
Corporate Governance
Adhere to the principles of the latest King Report with regards to Corporate Governance
Training and Development
Advising and coaching of sales staff on ways to improve their sales performance
Keep abreast with the latest technology and products by attending 90% of schedule in-house training quarterly
Help develop best practice training material to assist sales staff in becoming successful sales people.
Qualification and Experience:
Matric
Sales and/or Marketing Diploma preferred.
At least 5 years' sales experience in total; 2 years solid experience at a similar level as required by the company
In-house sales training
Skills and Knowledge:
Corporate key accounts sales
Computer knowledge, specifically MS office applications
Adequate knowledge of budgeting, sales principles, etc.
ICT industry knowledge
Establishing sales lead, building and maintaining customer/stakeholder relationships
Superior people skills
