Job Description


The Account Manager is the person in charge of managing a company's relationships with its customers. They are in charge of developing a new market, new customers, building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. The successful Key Account Manager will be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing in the Electricity Meter Industry.

Educational Background:

Degree/ National Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or relevant field.

Work Experience:

At least 5+ years working experience in the pre-paid electricity meter industry.

Must have Sales experience with Municipalities.

Proven work experience as a sales account manager or sales account executive.

Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).

Understanding of sales performance metrics.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.

Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
