Drive Growth Across Africa's Industrial Sectors - Key Account Manager Opportunity
Are you an experienced sales professional with a track record in industrial B2B markets? We're seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join a global leader in high-performance industrial services, supporting critical sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, and Marine across Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape & Namibia.
This is your chance to represent a renowned international brand, build lasting relationships with major industry players, and drive strategic growth across Southern Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute targeted Key Account Management Plans aligned with strategic objectives.
Maintain and grow market share while identifying and unlocking new business opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, and Marine sectors.
Collaborate with global and local segment teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
Drive growth through indirect sales channels and expand distributor networks in Namibia and the broader region.
Lead accurate product forecasting and prepare annual sales and margin budgets.
Use digital CRM tools to manage the sales process and customer interactions.
Gather and share market intelligence to support product and strategy development.
Actively participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar technical/industrial B2B role (selling into Industry, Contractors and EPC)
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Bachelor's degree preferred; NACE, FROSIO, Corrodere or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Proven record of achieving growth targets and managing key accounts.
Experienced in export sales and distributor development across Africa.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional, matrix environment.
Willingness to travel across Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and Namibia (30%)
