Our client is one of the leading wholesale suppliers of promotional gifts and clothing and they are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage the relationship between the company and a selection of key clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term relationships as well as sales targets of these key customers by comprehending their business structure, focus points and requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability and drive to building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our companyxe2x80x99s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.

The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of key clients
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
• Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing ideas and solutions that meet their objectives
• Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
• Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification (added advantage)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Proven experience as Key Account Manager for more than 3 years consecutively
• Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
• Valid South-African Driverxe2x80x99s License
