THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT PRACTICE
The Human Development Practice helps countries 'move up the Preston curve', improving human development outcomes without needing increased wealth. Our K12 team envisions quality education for all, aiming for foundational literacy, numeracy, and self-learning in primary and relevant secondary skills by 2030. We help governments and societies improve education sector performance in the context of tight fiscal space, demographic shifts, and the opportunities of AI. ANALYST, EDUCATION
Genesis Analytics is hiring a brilliant Analyst for our K12 Education practice in Goa (preferred) or Johannesburg. You will apply the horsepower of a top-tier strategy consultant to solve the global learning crisis, blending rigorous data analysis with strategic advice for governments & foundations. We seek a Masters graduate (Economics/Policy) with advanced Stata/R skills, responsible AI literacy, and a deep commitment to social impact. Direct field experience is highly valued. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, self-regulating professional to drive evidence-based change in the developing world.
We are seeking an exceptional Analyst who combines the intellectual horsepower of a top-tier consultant with a profound commitment to social change.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background (Masters Degree in Economics/Public Policy), advanced proficiency in Stata/R, strong econometric foundations, and demonstrable skill in using AI tools responsibly and effectively. Professional experience (1-3 years) and hands-on field research experience in a developing country are highly prized differentiators.

Location:
This role can be based in Goa (India) or Johannesburg (South Africa). You must already have the right to work in the location you apply for.
