Job Description
RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable and long-standing company in Cape Town is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organised, and eager to grow within a professional and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost estimating, tender preparation, and project budgeting
- Measure and quantify works from drawings and on-site assessments
- Analyse technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare progress reports, cost tracking, and financial documentation
- Support the senior QS team with contract administration and procurement
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company standards
- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
- Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is advantageous
- Valid driver's licence and reliable own transport
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail, with a methodical and professional approach to work
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications
