Junior/Mid-level Developer

Up to 28,000rand per month depending on experience
Unlock your potential:
We're looking for a Junior/Mid level Automation Developer to join our Automation team! In this role you will be responsible for the development, build and support of RPA solutions across Acacium Group, delivering these automations through the use of cloud-based automation tools and software. Reporting into the Head of automation you will be supporting the delivery of cost-effective, risk-controlled, robust, reliable and secure automation solutions to assist the organisation in improving operational efficiency.
Working closely with more senior developers and the wider transformation team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and mentoring. You'll be part of a team that ensures our applications are stable, secure, and meet the needs of internal stakeholders.

Everyday you will...

• Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues in existing applications. Implement changes in line with change control processes.
• Help ensure user issues are resolved quickly and effectively. Communicate in a clear, helpful, and professional manner.
• Engage in learning activities to improve understanding of the Outsystems platform and general development best practices.

To thrive in this role, you must have...

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to any low-code or full-stack development environment (Outsystems a plus, but not essential).
• Understanding of application lifecycles and basic software development practices.
• Familiarity with support workflows or ticket-based systems is an advantage.
