Job Summary One of our esteemed clients, being a leader in IT services has exciting vacancies for the position of Junior Technology Sales Consultants based in Cape Town near Tyger Valley. The Junior Technology Sales Consultant would see themselves selling in the typical door to door fashion to clients such as businesses in business parks etc using our excellent go to market sales pitch, this would see us on boarding numerous Office 365 customers where the package would be between 5 or 500 licenses. They are a tech start-up that branched off and separated from a Global Technology Company so that we can deliver South African solutions with South Africans in mind. The products they would be selling would include: Office 365 license licenses SharePoint Services Document Management System, and Workflow with Mobile Apps Requirements: IT product/services sales experience Commission hungry Sales hunter Aptitude: Ability to work under pressure. Deadline driven. Ability to work both independently and in a team. Ability to work speedily but accurately. Dress Code: Chinos, smart jeans and company supplied Golf Shirt OR Long Sleeve branded Location: Will be required to be office based outside of customer meetings and outside sales Offices in northern suburbs (Tyger Valley area CPT) Hours are 8:30-4:30 We do ease up and become flexible on reporting to office based on performance Opportunity to grow: Sales person will acquire, manage and maintain their own base and accounts, we believe in personalised customer service and traditional account management. Once they have too many customers to drive new business we convert them into an account manager for their base but they still get comm on their base and new business. The salary of course increases to compensate for not only the loss of new business comm but also increases due to their experience and relationships. Culture We serve all markets and size businesses through years of experience in huge corporates like MTN, STD BANK, IMPERIAL, SAA down to a 10 man owner run business. We are placing a focus on SMEs, they are under-served and they deserve quality solutions and access to the same software features as corporates but at an appropriate price. People: People come first, no customer takes preference over a staff member No staff member takes preference over the business (it impacts other staff) We do not want overly formal sales people We want human beings, ones that enjoy making connections Those that are passionate about what we are delivering We would not take a hardcore salesman for their sheer ability to produce numbers over another who actually believes in the solutions and what we stand for We are brand/culture/reputation hungry profits do not take priority over that Ethics, morals and value come first We do not cheat customers, bend truths or do whatever is needed for a sale. The principle should be that if you wouldnt sell it to your own family the way in which you are, then dont sell it that way to a customer We highlight risks, not hide them in T&Cs We dont lie and find who to blame, we fix the problem first and we also believe that people make mistakes, so own up to give us a chance to fix it and as long as its not criminal and you learn from it then all good NOBODY uses aggression (passive or active), intimidation or their role to exercise power of another team member. (There are reporting lines but we are all on the same team) Managers are there to help and guide not to discipline and demand, we hold them accountable to this. Other Requirements: Valid drivers license Own reliable vehicle Remuneration Basic Salary : R12,000.00 Negotiable Fuel allowance of : R2,500 Expected Commission : R30,000.00 pm
