Junior Short-term Personal lines Underwriter / Claims clerk Responsibilities: - Handling of claims. - Assist with new quotations, renewals, amendments. - Attention to detail. - Ability to negotiate with Insurers. - Educate clients on various short-term financial products and services. - Regularly review clientxe2x80x99s portfolios and offer recommendations for adjustments. - Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance standards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term financial partnerships. Requirements: - RE 5 (Regulatory Examination 5). - NQF 4 (120 credits) - COB (Class of business) an advantage. - DOFA required. - Two years proven experience as a Short-term Personal Lines Underwriter and Claims clerk. - In-depth knowledge of short-term financial products, insurance and claims. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Knowledge of the South African financial market and regulations. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding client expectations.
