Job Description

The role provides support to senior technicians and engineers in handling day-to-day technical queries within the branch and assisting with customer service-related technical tasks. This position is designed to help build technical capability within the branch and support after-sales service under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with customer technical support requests escalating complex issues to senior staff.

Accompany senior technicians on local site visits to:

Support commissioning of new systems.

Observe and assist in diagnosing faulty equipment.

Learn to troubleshoot system issues.

Assist in processing warranty claims under guidance.

Help sales consultants with basic technical questions about products and systems.

Support the documentation of technical issues and potential solutions.

Attend supplier or internal training sessions as required.

Assist with record-keeping and updating the company CRM with supervision.

Participate in team meetings and learning activities to develop technical skills and product knowledge.

Minimum

Requirements:

Matric/NQF4 equivalent.

1-2 years of exposure or experience in a technical support, electrical, or backup power environment is preferred.

A basic electrical qualification or relevant technical diploma is advantageous.

Valid driver's licence and access to own vehicle.

Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
