This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their retail, analytics, or merchandising career who wants to apply their skills and experience allocating, and optimize stock across a retail store network. You'll support senior Store planners with sales reporting, store allocations, and stock analysis while developing the core skills needed to grow in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support allocation of products to stores based on demand, store size, and sales trends.
Assist in monitoring weekly sales, stock levels, and store performance.
Prepare and maintain reports to support planning and merchandising decisions.
Help track product performance and identify potential stock risks (overstock/understock).
Work with the Buying, Merchandising, and Store teams to ensure timely product flow.
Maintain accurate data within planning systems and spreadsheets.
Assist with setting up and analysing store clustering, replenishment, and new store stock builds.
Conducting store visits and store feedback sessions
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Business/Retail Management or Accounting/Finance would be beneficial
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (added advantage) or experience in environment preferably in apparel or footwear.
Strong numerical and analytical ability with attention to detail.
Basic Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables are a plus, but training can be provided).
Merchandise allocation software, Dolfin software experience (added advantage)
Good communication skills and comfort working with different business teams.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Passionate about retail, trends, and understanding what drives customer demand.
A high degree of numeracy, detailed and strategic approach to work.
Must be able to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
