Job Description

Our client, a leading alternative investment firm, is seeking a Junior Research Analyst to support our team to assist with due diligence processes. This role will be based at our offices in Bryanston, Sandton.

As a growing firm with a focus on alternative investments, we require a detail-oriented and motivated individual to help ensure the smooth execution of agreements, private place memorandums and information memorandums, conduct thorough due diligence, and provide support in various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including analyzing financial data, market trends, and relevant industry information.

Prepare detailed reports and summaries of findings to aid in investment decision-making processes.

Collaborate with senior research analysts and team members to assess the viability and risks associated with various investment prospects.

Assist the team in drafting, reviewing, and organizing agreements related to investment opportunities, client contracts, and other business arrangements.

Ensure that all legal documents are accurately maintained and filed securely.

Provide administrative support to the firm as needed, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining documentation.

Assist in compiling data and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Help with data entry, data management, and other ad hoc tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Basic understanding of investment terminology and contract drafting is desirable but not mandatory.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Car and drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience or internship in a legal or financial research capacity is a plus.

Familiarity with conducting due diligence on investment opportunities.

Age 22-35 years.
