Position: Junior Property Accountant
Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours (EST preferred)
Salary Range: $900 - $1,400/month
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

A real estate firm focused on managing commercial properties with strong financial controls and accurate reporting to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Send monthly tenant bills and record tenant payments
Perform month-end bank reconciliations and close procedures
Update tenancy occupancy and stacking plans
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Review and analyze general ledger and financial statements
Prepare accrual and adjusting journal entries
Conduct balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
Prepare financial reports for internal use and external partners
Analyze property cash flows and assist with budgeting
Support business process and technology integration initiatives
Handle special projects as assigned by senior management
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of real estate accounting experience
Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and US GAAP
Proficient in Excel and accounting software such as MRI or Yardi
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in property management accounting
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
