Junior Financial Accountant | Luxury Property Group | Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Accountant to join a prestigious luxury property group based in Cape Town. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with proven experience in multi-entity environments, strong reconciliation and VAT expertise, and a solutions-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports
Management of supplier invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in banking, payroll, and cash control processes
Oversight of stock control procedures and assistance with monthly stocktakes
Handling of customer invoicing and effective debtor management
Maintenance and auditing of the Fixed Asset Register
Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and preparation of VAT reconciliations and returns
Enforcement of internal controls and contribution to audit readiness
Collaboration with various departments and business units across the group
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role
Strong skills in reconciliation, VAT, and supplier management
Proven experience working within multi-entity environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting systems, and Nedbank online banking
Desirable: Experience within hospitality or retail financial environments
High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
Package Offered:
Salary: R35,000 - R42,000 per month (negotiable, dependent on experience)
