Junior Production Manager

Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Junior Production Manager to assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring production programs. You will work closely with an experienced Senior Manager and have the opportunity to grow in both technical management and strategic planning.
This role will be based in the Patensie area, Eastern Cape.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (advantageous).
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and digital monitoring systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team.
- Adaptable, well-organized, and passionate about sustainable production.
- Monitor cultivar trials and planting activities.
- Manage technical staff and coordinate daily production operations.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as Global GAP, Farming for the Future, DAFF, and SIZA Environmental.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training for production practices.
- Procure and manage inputs related to pest control and fertilization.
