JUNIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN (Steel and Aluminum Fabrication)(Area:) Phoenix(Salary:) Market Related(Ref: AG)Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Junior Product Development Technician who will bolster the Design and Development department by manufacturing, building and testing prototypes.This role reports to the engineering manager as is responsible for machining, building and testing prototypes according to drawings, optimizing componentry to improve effectiveness or efficiencies, developing and implementing new testing systems and procedures, assisting the engineering department in resolving product issues or production difficulties, providing maintenance assistance when required, maintaining workshop and related equipment and documenting test results. Must have Matric or N3 Certificate with Fitting & Turning or Tool & Die Making experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selections.
