Job Summary Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
The ideal candidate will direct and coordinate all activities concerning operational requirements including sales and customer liaison.
Confers with owner to establish production and quality control standards, as well as cost controls.
Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Ensure the preventative maintenance and repairs scheduled of assets in production departments are adhered to.
General Management including staff management, product and premises management.
Willing to be taught the trade to have an in depth understanding of the process.
Willing to pick up some tools if required to get things done or on the spot repairs.
Management of clientxe2x80x99s stock and overseeing the delivery thereof when required.
Scheduling works for the most efficient work flow
Overall management of the operations to enable the client to get the best service possible.
Nurturing relationships with clients.
Generating new Business.
Educational Requirements:
Matric and / or technical matric
Computer literate (working on a Mac as well as PC would be an advantage)
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Valid Drivers License
Previous experience in a similar role would be hugely advantageous
