Junior Millwright / Maintenance Technician

Job Description
- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is a full-time position, responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures.
- Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
- Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
- Performs routine maintenance
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Knows PLC'S and basic wiring
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Trade Qualification or equivalent required.
- Related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must reside in the East Rand
