URGENT VACANCY
COMPRESSOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) | Mine Sites
Our client, a prominent engineering firm that offers specialized Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation services to the mining sector in the DRC, seeks a skilled Compressor Maintenance Technician. You will possess extensive experience in servicing & maintaining Ingersoll Rand compressors. This post demands a practical expert with a comprehensive knowledge of compressor systems, plus expertise in preventative & corrective maintenance & troubleshooting within mining & industrial environments in the DRC.
ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 / Matric
Mechanical Electromechanical Engineering qualification
10+ years hands-on experience in the maintenance & repair of Ingersoll Rand air compressors or other
Prior employment in sectors such as mining, heavy industry, or power generation. Knowledgeable in compressed air treatment systems, including dryers and filters.
Basic French an adv
Strong knowledge of rotary screw and reciprocating compressors.
Read & interpret technical manuals & electrical schematics.
Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting skills.
