Job Summary Our client in the Clothing Manufacturing industry is URGENTLY looking for a Junior Fashion Merchandiser to join their team

• Min 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Clothing Industry
• Understanding of garment rating
• Understanding of fabric bases
• Garment construction knowledge would be an added advantage
• Ability to run cost sheets on SYNC
• Understanding of production processes
• Good computer skills to manage spreadsheets, send emails, follow up with Buyers, Planners and QAxe2x80x99s
• Communication skills are of great importance to liaise with customers and internal team
• Will need to arrange s/offxe2x80x99s and L/dips from China, keeping eye on ship date in relation to delivery dates making sure that the bulk sampling is being received on time
• Need to raise fabric orders and process to China
• Need to track shipping of fabric out of China
• Ensure that to track fits by dates and that seal by dates are met
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
