This Individual will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running ofall production in work. We expect you to have deep know-how in production.procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set youapart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part ofyour day.The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meetscustomer requirements.ResponsibilitiesPlanning, Forecasting (SYNC) and Purchasing of fabrics /trimsEstimate costs and prepare budgetsOrganize workflow to meet specifications and deadlinesLiaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirementsMonitor production to resolve issuesTracking of production schedules and cost adjustments to ensure smoothrunningRegular follow ups and updating of SYNC system/schedules and feedback to salesteamSupervise and evaluate performance of production personnelDetermine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)Ensure output meets quality standardsReport to upper managementTrack costs for labour and any raw materials received and shipping off final goodsto different locations.Determines how much input goes into making each product and schedules it tobe processed efficiently.SkillsProven experience as production manager - Good people management skills andmanagement of staff.Deep knowledge of production managementExtensive knowledge of SYNCDegree/Diploma in Production will be a bonus however experience is vitalUnderstanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsAlways remain transparent so that all activities fall within budget.Experience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office , Excel , WordExcellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.Excellent organizational and leaderships skillsStrong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail oriented. Must beproactive, Always keeping the end-user/customer in mind.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachIdentifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimise risk.Be able to work with a production team, collaborate to meet any quotas that needto be completedMust be able to work alongside general production workers and factories.Working well with many different departments and external suppliers.
