Job Summary:

This is an excellent

starter opportunity

for an individual with a passion for marketing and the hospitality industry. The Junior Marketer will actively promote Caterlink's products and services to key decision-makers in the foodservice sector, including chefs, food & beverage managers, stock controllers, and procurement teams. This includes visiting establishments such as restaurants, hotels, wine farms, schools, caterers, and retirement homes to introduce Caterlink, share product information, and assist with onboarding new clients.

The role also includes supporting internal marketing campaigns and assisting with various marketing tasks within the company.

Earning Structure:

The position offers a

base salary

, along with the following additional earning components:

Travel reimbursement or petrol allowance

for external client visits. A

performance-based incentive

paid for each new customer that is successfully signed up and places a qualifying first order within the same month.
This structure rewards individuals who are proactive, confident in face-to-face interactions, and focused on results.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Caterlink's offerings to potential customers through external outreach and site visits. Research and identify suitable prospects in the catering and hospitality sectors. Share promotional materials, product ranges, and sample quotations with new leads. Follow up with potential clients and assist in onboarding and first orders. Support internal marketing campaigns, promotions, and branded communications. Distribute marketing materials and assist with event coordination and product launches. Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and reporting.

Candidate Profile:

Completed certificate, diploma, or short course in marketing, hospitality, or a related field,

or

prior experience in a customer-facing retail environment with exposure to in-store promotions and campaigns. Own reliable transport and valid driver's license

required

. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn. Interested in developing a career in the foodservice and hospitality marketing space.

Pay: From R7500,00 per month
