Junior Logistics Controller
Job Description
Recognised Logistics Operator requires an experienced individual with at least 2yrs Freight Forwarding exposure, one who can execute operational activities related to Exports, Port Operations and Imports. Liaise with service providers. Ensuring all shipments are executed efficiently & cost effectively. Meet the turn-around time for Pre-Alerts, Bill of Lading, Freight Invoices, submitting reports on time, etc. Check shipment documentation for accuracy (INCO Terms, Values, Tariff Codes, etc). Clearance & delivery of shipment in compliance with the countries customs & shipping regulations. Build relationships with suppliers and Freight Forwarders. Working knowledge of SAP an advantage.
