Job Description
LLB Graduate and Admitted Attorney with minimum 2 years' Post Admission experience, preferably with Commercial and Litigation experience and some exposure to Property and Construction, required for a national Property Development Company based in Sandton.
Minimum requirements:
- LLB Degree essential
- Admission as an Attorney essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience post admission required
- Commercial and Litigation experience preferred
- Property and Construction experience beneficial
- Good understanding of legal principles required
- Commercial experience and an interest in real estate and construction preferred
- Administration and ensure compliance with legislation and JSE requirements
- POPIA and assist legal team with compliance
- Drafting of policies
- Assist legal team with legal compliance
- Keep abreast of Construction legislation and new legislation in industry
- Training and updated to all staff
- Drafting, reviewing and updating all legal agreements within the group
- Assist Senior Legal Adviser with research and drafting legal opinions
- Assistance on rental queries
- Assist and manage legal aspects of new development
- Standardise all legal documentation
- Drafting commercial agreements and understand property acquisition transactions
- Assist Senior Legal Advisory with body corporates
- Drafting finance documentation
