Job Description

Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking for a Junior IT Asset Readiness & Deployment contract duration of 6 to 12 months.
Role Overview: IT Asset Readiness & Deployment role is responsible for preparing and deploying IT assets to ensure they are ready for use by end-users.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in IT Asset Management
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of IT Assets: Prepare IT assets for deployment, including imaging, configuration, and testing to ensure they meet organizational standards.
• Deployment Coordination: Coordinate the deployment of IT assets to end-users, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of IT assets to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards before deployment.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage the inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate records are maintained and assets are accounted for.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure smooth deployment processes and address any technical challenges.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and network configurations.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues during deployment.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deployments and maintain accurate records.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with end-users and other IT teams effectively.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ITAM, ITIL) are a plus.
