About the Role:

Host Agents is looking for a

creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer

to bring style and functionality to our short-term rental properties.
In this role, you'll act as both

property stylist and inventory controller

, transforming spaces into memorable guest experiences. From auditing properties and selecting furniture to coordinating installations and styling homes for photo shoots, you'll help ensure every property stands out in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop design concepts and floor plans for new and existing listings Source and select furnishings, decor, and finishes that enhance each space Manage styling projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Conduct property audits to maintain quality and design standards Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and photographers Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across all properties Enhance the guest experience through thoughtful, functional design

Requirements:

Diploma in Interior Design or related field (certification a plus) Minimum 1 year of interior design or property styling experience (hospitality/short-term rental experience advantageous) Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and space planning Proficiency in design software (e.g. SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities Experience in budget management and cost control
