A well-established company located in Pretoria is looking for a motivated Junior Industrial Engineer to join their team!

Computer Software: MRP and ERP systems

Minimum Education: Degree (preferred) or 3 year Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Minimum Experience:

• Entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to apply their skills in managing MRP and ERP systems
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following:

• Utilize MRP and ERP systems to manage production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of job flows within the systems
• Identify areas for improvement in system utilization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
• Serve as the primary liaison between the sales department and production team
• Communicate production schedules, lead times, and any potential delays to the sales team
• Collaborate with production managers to prioritize orders and optimize production workflows
• Assist in the setup and implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout all processes and procedures
• Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist the design office with designs, drawings and prototyping
• Learn SolidEdge software
