Junior HR Generalist - Cape TownSouth Africa - Western Cape, Cape Town - South (Houtbay to Cape of Good Hope)R 20000 Monthly Basic Salary (Discretionary performance based bonus., Annual Increase, Provident Fund after 3 months, Market related, Negotiable)Our client, a well-established fish processing company, is looking for a Junior HR Generalist to join their team based in Kommetjie, Cape Town.DutiesLeave administration xe2x80x93 ensure leave forms are received and signed off. Ensure proof of incapacitation is received (medical certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates). Verify whether employees have sufficient leave available. Capture and file leave forms.Recruitment xe2x80x93 sourcing of CVs, arranging of interviews, liaising with relevant managers for offers of employment and contracts of employment.Staff appointment documentation administration xe2x80x93 ensure new employees complete all relevant documentation as per the Staff Appointment procedure and that all supporting documents are received.Personnel file administration xe2x80x93 filing of all documents in an accurate and consistent manner for proper record keeping.Disciplinary management (industrial relations) xe2x80x93 hearings, warnings, council staff, etc. for one site, xc2xb1 120 wage staff. Liaise with the relevant manager for any issuing of warnings, notifications, and dismissals.WSP/ATR submission and minutes of meetings.Employment Equity submission and record keeping/minutes.Annual BEE certification preparation and liaising with the BEE consultant.Arrange the training for 2 business sites, all outsourced.Monthly payroll for 3 sites.EMP201 / EMP501 / IRP5s.WCA returns for 3 business sites.Handle any IOD claims.Provident fund submissions.Health and Safety officer for 2 business sites.Any other related matters, such as POPIA / PAIA management etc.RemunerationA provident fund that kicks in after 3-month probation.Annual increase in March, linked to CPI.Discretionary performance-based bonus in December. No guarantee.No 13th Cheque.Minimum RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Human Resources Management.At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources practices.Advanced level of computer literacy.Own reliable transport and a valid driverxe2x80x99s license.For more information please contact:Cobus Visser
