Junior Draughtsman
Job Description
A shopfitting company manufacturing metal and timber products looking to employ a Junior Draughtsman to add to our team. The ideal candidate needs to have the following Attributes:
Computer literate in MS Office programs
Experience in reading and interpreting drawings
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
DUTIES
Preparing plate nesting's diagrams for CNC cutting (Fibre laser cutter)
Preparation of cutting lists for the metal and timber department
Establishing a bill of materials and submitting it to the relevant departments for ordering / drawing of stock
Review and evaluate cost estimates
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication / shopfitting environment would an advantage but not a requirement. Salary negotiable based on experience.
