Job Summary Mechanical design and draughtsperson required with:

National Senior Certificate
Mechanical Engineering Diploma and P1 & P2 Training
Advanced MS Office and Outlook proficiency
CAD software qualification and experience, SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred
1-2 years experience in mechanical design and drawing
Planning and Time Management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Hands-on Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
Accuracy, attention to detail and professional presentation of work
Organisation skills and effective task management and completion
Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve expected deliverables
Curiosity and research ability into new developments in Draughting
Team player, willing to engage at all levels with technical, engineering and management teams
Ability to take initiative, conceptualise and follow through
Strong administration and document management abilities
Ability to ensure compliance of designs and drawings with company-prescribed regulations and standards
Invest in product research, design and development to grow the company's product offering, increase profitability and market share
